About the Jones Creek Disc Golf Club

Since the Jones Creek disc golf course was installed in November of 2021, the park has drawn players from all over the Houston area. It didn't take long for a handful of local players to start organizing weekly events at the course. The group of regulars, affectionately known as the "Jones Crew", grew quickly and started working with the park to help maintain the course with projects like laying mulch in wet areas, adding steps to some of the tee pads, and building the tee box frames to keep mud off of the tee pads.

In 2024 the Jones Creek Disc Golf Club was officially formed and adopted a charter to govern how the club functions and the selection of club officers to serve as the Board. The new board organized and ran the inaugural BIG MONEY MINI in November of 2024, and officially held the first officer elections. In 2025 the board organized the Sprint League, which kicked off on February 8, 2025.

Membership is open to everyone. Membership dues are $20 per year, and those club funds are used for event prizes, course maintenance, and upgrades. 

Our members are disc golf ambassadors to our local community. In addition to supporting our own club events, we encourage our members to participate and support other disc golf related events held at the park throughout the year, like the Primrose Fundraiser Tournament, Big Love Cancer Charity Tournament, Gorilla Disc Golf's Jones Creek Jam, The Armory Disc Golf tournaments, Par 54 events, and many more. We also participate and support Houston Disc Golf events, too.
